ok. several things:
1) We saw a great apartment today. It's kind of far east (alphabet city and around 18th), but it's way cheap and LARGE and utilities are included. It's in this weird little village...stuyvesant town I suppose it is. It's like being on some strange campus that has lots of playgrounds. I kinda like it though. I REALLY like the apartment itself. Anybody make $176,000 a year and wanna be our guarantor??? Mr. Trump?? Come on. Anybody?
2) While we were walking through random town village place to see the 2 BR apt, we see this blonde girl walking around with her baby...well, A baby. Who knows if it was hers. Anyway, I was like, "That's SCOOTER girl from American Idol!!!" And my 2 roomies and Brennan the broker are like "Who?" And I'm like, "American IDOL, dude! It's SCOOTER girl!!" So then she sees me knowing who she is and she starts singing to her baby....really loudly. Like, ok, the baby's attached to her front in one of those baby carrier jobs, and she's singing loud enough for us to hear her QUITE clearly across and down the street. Dude, they kicked you off. Give it up. So yeah, Olsen twins @ NYU and Scooter Girl in my apt complex. It's gonna be a heck of a fall semester!!
3) I saw the greatest mullet EVER today, and I'm not kidding with this one. It was freakin awesome. There's no way I can describe it accurately enough to do it justice, but I'll do the best I can. It had bangs in the front that swept over to the right. Then it was really short on top and on the sides, and here's the best part... the long part in the back was only on the left half. It wasn't that the hair was swept that way. It's that it was only long on the left side. So it did a continual sweep from the right in the front to the left in the back. It was like art...seriously. I stared at it a lot....even more than scooter girl.
