Worst Ad Campaign EVER...
So I'm walking past the Sketchers store on my way home from class tonight, and I notice the sign in the window. I love witty advertising. Taco Bell's got it down. Andrea, you know all about that. But Sketchers...I really don't want to buy their shoes now. The sign read as follows:
We put the S in action.
Ok, so the S was the Sketchers trademark S...there was the ad part I guess, but it's a stupid stupid ad because THERE IS NO S IN ACTION. If you're going to say that you put something in something, at least make sure that something is in the other something. Otherwise, your claim to have put it there is null. If you say you put something in something else and your something isn't in the something else, all you're doing is proving that you don't deliver. Come on Sketchers. Think. (Propers to Shelley for pointing out the blog-worthiness of this story.)
