For my mother

I realize that I haven't blogged in 10 whole days and that this is tragic for some of you who just can't get enough of me. I apologize. But really, nothing terribly exciting happened to me for several days following the creation of "Beth's European Adventure Quiz." If you haven't taken it, you absolutely must. Mom's got the high score of 80 right now. If you beat her, I will suspect you cheated, but just remember, we're on the honor system.

So I left NYC last Tuesday on AirTran. If you're ever searching for cheap airfare and you get $1 cheaper on AT, please, I implore you, spend the extra buck and fly United. I promise you half the people on this flight had never flown before...or at least weren't familiar with airport check-in procedures. It was ridiculous. This will be a blog in itself, but not right now. It's too long. In short, I had to fly from NY to Atlanta to Raleigh. This doesn't make any sense. Go study your US geography real quick. Crazy.

BUT I've eaten Bojangles 3 times since I've been here (1 week for those who aren't paying attention to my comings and goings), and it's been GLORIOUS!! Southern fried goodness seeping into my veins. And today I had Cheerwine. 30 points if you've had Cheerwine before. 30 more if you love it.

I went to my family reunion this past weekend, which was also great fun. I shot skeet and danced with my cousins, swam in the pool and slept in. It made for a great weekend. Uhhh...

JBlair is distracting me so I've gotta run, but I will definitely blog all about AirTran in the near future. I wrote it all down on a barf bag as soon as I got a chance.
