because I never posted it before
If you haven't guessed, Blogger has recently made it MUCH easier to post pictures. Formerly, you had to go through a complicated "hosting" process that was far to advanced for my technologically challenged self. Now, you can upload them from your own files or from elsewhere on the internet. It's changed my life. And since I promised a bunch of pictures back before 5,000 viruses ruined me, I'm taking the time now to catch up and make good on my promises.
So as my long-time readers are aware, I went to San Francisco to celebrate the new year this past holiday season. The party we were to attend was originally advertised as an 80's Prom, and my sister, therefore fashioned the most amazing outfit for me out of layers and layers of tulle and some black snakeskin pleather. To this, I added an over-sized denim jacket adorned with about a thousand buttons my other sister had still lurking in her room (left over from former button days, I assume), hot pink leggings and bright green flats from PayLess. I tried to create a wave-o-bangs that are unfortunately not visible in the fullness of their glory in this picture. However, I think you can still see that I have a 1/2 side ponytail going on along with some el cheapo Rite Aid brand hot pearly pink lipstick and some Wet-n-Wild blue eye shadow.
The theme of the party changed several times prior to December 31st, but as you can see, Katherine (left) and I stuck with the original plan. And had. A. Ball.
