whew
I'm ecstatic to report that once fully dried, my hair is completely normal, and could possibly even be considered cute. It is settling into its rightful place, and I'd say that by the end of the week, the mullet will be but a faint memory. But a big thanks goes out to Whitney for making me nearly pee my pants in Bear Rock Cafe while reading her comments from Wesley Willis, God rest his soul.
Big week this week. I started working at a new ESL site this morning as the Intake Specialist. I learned how to do the mountain of paperwork necessary to enroll each student, and I got a few tests under my belt. The teachers and supervisor are all really nice and helpful. And the former intake chick will be coming in to assist me for the first week. It's going to be good.
The shed is almost completely packed. I really just have the kitchen left to do, and then I'll be all set to move on THURSDAY!! I can't wait. A real apartment with a real kitchen and bathroom and real multiple rooms and a real roommate. I can't wait. Plus the blessed event means that my parents are coming to town to help, and since I haven't seen them since Bald Head, I'm thoroughly excited about that.
If anyone is interested in helping on Saturday with the heavy lifting, lunch will be provided. E-mail me for directions.

i'm very disappointed that you're choosing to move over attending the wedding of a dear friend. i only hope that when my partner and i tie the knot, you won't find such a convienent excuse.
