really?
I saw on the news yesterday that upside-down Christmas trees are going to be all the rage this year. You can even get one at Target for a mere $400, mount it on your wall/ceiling, and have more room on the floor for presents. To the people who are considering this, I ask two questions:
1) Why not just suspend it right-side-up from the ceiling? You'd still have more room on the floor for presents, and the tree wouldn't be so stupid-looking.
2) Where were you in '87 when Joey did this on My Two Dads? Gee whiz. Catch up already.

Where do you put the star? No, forget that (even though it's a valid question)--why the heck would you do this in the first place? Trends. Sheesh.
Did you know? During the 7th century, a monk from Devonshire spent time there preaching the word of God. Like any good instructor, he used props. The story goes that he used the triangular shape of the Fir tree to describe the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit that makes up the Holy Trinity. By the 12th century, the Fir tree was being hung upside down from ceilings in Central Europe as a symbol of christianity at Christmas time.
