sure, there are other things between now and then...
I just don't know what they are.
Sixteen days and counting, friends, until what, from now on, will be called my "Happy Bethday!" Put it down on the calendar. On March 6th, I will officially be straddling my mid- and late-20s. My wish list so far is as follows:
1) Musical phone calls from everyone. You may opt for the standard birthday tune or create and original work inspired by me. Points and accolades will be awarded liberally just for completing this assignment.
2) Dinner at any of the following restaurants:
-Red Lobster
-Chili's
-Sushi Thai
-Olive Garden
-Bojangles
3) A blender. I'm serious this time. Not like at Christmas.
4) iTunes cards in any amount
5) Just about any of the shirts from randomshirts.com (size L) except for "Si, se habla Old Norse." I've already got that one.
6) A pedicure.
7) "Mad Hot Ballroom" on DVD
8) A party that I don't have to plan
9) Barnes and Noble gift cards in any amount
10) Giant vats of Citre Shine hair gel. Giant ones.
I reserve the right to add or remove from this list as I feel inclined at any point between now and 11:59 p.m. on 3/6/2006.

I'll take care of the blender.
Are we calling things? And can we make suggestions for additions to the list? Because "Rent" comes out on DVD this week. And if that goes on the list, I'm pre-emptively calling it right now.
This will call for a Chili's night, involving a molten lava cake split 3 ways. We'll plan later. :)
I call sushi tai and anything involving references to previous JessBeth dates icluding but not limited to the following: BTE, Bollywood,butterfinger cappachinos and any sequel or remake of pride and prejudice either previously released or in the making. I just can't quit you Beth. Happy birthday indeed. I say this now because there is a good chance I might miss the real date.
