the Beth (like the Donald, but with WAY better hair)
Ok. So tonight, I'm hosting the monthly HoeGroup film/food event, which for January is entitled "Poppin-n-Lockin Breakdance Revolution." We'll be viewing the film, "Breakin': Where Breakin' Was Born" and eating foods that feature the words "pop," "lock" or "break." I have yet to come up with any foods that use the word "lock," but we ought to have a plethora of junk foods on hand representing "pop" and "break."
ANYhoe...in preparation for the aforementioned event, I've been cleaning my apartment, and a large part of this cleaning has been going through the mail and other various and sundry items that have been sitting unopened on my dresser, some for MONTHS.
By the grace of almighty God, all the bills I came across had been opened and paid, and on top of that, I've been finding money EVERYWHERE, which is absolutely amazing and such a blessing because I'm looking forward to getting paid roughly a dollar at the end of this month. A dollar that needs to pay for my rent, my student loan payment, my utilities, my car maintenance, my gas, my food, my entertainment, etc.
I just had a mini-heart attack at discovering a check from my insurance company reimbursing me for the majority of my visit to the dentist back in October. Hooray for insurance!! I'm off to the bank to deposit the check before it is no longer valid.
