It's the penultimate countdown!!
Let the countdown begin to Big Apple Easter 2007!! We've got our itinerary all worked out, and our accommodations are 99% certain. We'll be spending Thursday night in our nation's capital with the one, the only, the amazingly fabulous...Emily Furr (of Extreme Ironing 2007 fame). And after some extensive emailing this morning, she and I have worked up a Man Pageant to find me-n-Brookie a pair of boyfriends. I don't want to give too much away, but I just hope she can come up with the cardboard for the breakdancing bonuses.
Then we'll leave bright and early Friday morning to finish the journey to the NYC, where we'll park the car and head to midtown for a little MoMA action. The rest is pretty unscripted. I think there'll be some Malecon involved, some Mamoun, some Pam, maybe a Patty, not to mention Sammy (my noodle daddy). Brooke's never been to an H&M, so an initiation is in order, I'd say. An Urban Outfitters, perhaps, as well. And either TKTS or lottery tickets to something. Anything, really. Wicked is obviously my first choice, but having tried the lottery three or four times now without success, I'm not holding my breath. The Fantasticks is back now (!!), so there's another very likely candidate. Any other suggestions?
If you're going to be around the metro NY area, and would like to hang out with me, you know what to do. Holla!
In the immortal words of a Clay Aiken t-shirt, "I'm so excited, I could piddle."

Is that seriously a T-Shirt? Where do I find one? WHERE?! I must know! I'll sell my blood! That's too damn funny! :)
Okay, I gotta see you at some point this weekend! We have family in town all weekend, but we've got to work something out. I mean, seriously, I haven't seen you since the day we sang "The Penultimate Countdown" on the UWS.
