gut-wrenching soundtrack
For my sister, because she asked, I've compiled a list of the songs that rip my heart out in good ways and bad. Here they are in no particular order.
1. "At the Stars" - Better Than Ezra
2. "Desperado" - The Eagles
3. "Shelter" - Ray LaMontagne
4. "Tell Me On a Sunday" - from Andrew Lloyd Webber's Song and Dance (Don't you dare judge me. "Take the hurt out of all the pain..." That's some good stuff.)
5. "She's Got a Way" - Billy Joel
6. "Wholly Yours" - David Crowder Band
7. "Loving Arms" - Dixie Chicks
8. "I Still Believe" - from Miss Saigon
9. "Wedding Dress" - Derek Webb
10. "All By Myself" - Jamie O'Neal
11. "Hold Me Now" - Jennifer Knapp
12. "Be Be Your Love" - Rachael Yamagata
13. "Psalm 145" - Shane and Shane
14. "Gimme Gimme" - from Thoroughly Modern Millie
15. "I'll Cover You (reprise)" - from RENT (the one at Angel's funeral)

Actually, tell me on a sunday is from the musical evita that ALWebber wrote
nevermind, I smoke crack. Its not from evita. because I smoke crack...
Thanks for correcting yourself. Anyone who knows music theatre knows that Tell me on a Sunday is no where close to the musical style of Evita, let alone in the actual musical itself.
And by the way Beth, WTF. Why was track 5 not on your list!

Because as much as I love that one, and as much as I look forward to singing it with you on Broadway one day, it doesn't twist my tummy in knots like the others.
