Onward Hoe!

I just couldn't get out of the bed yesterday. I kept hitting the snooze. I was supposed to be at the Eagle at 8:00 a.m., but I rolled in around 8:15. I cared very very little about this to begin with, but I came to be even thankful for it as I drove through multiple stages of hilarity. I hadn't even gotten on the highway yet when a song came on the Christian radio station I was listening to that made me laugh out loud and call people to tell them about it. While listening to the first verse, I noted that it was one of the dorkiest songs I had ever heard. Then the chorus began.

Upon getting a hold of Dre, with whom I had not spoken in WAY too long, I told her about the song AND the black mustang I had just passed. The driver was a woman with a really bad permed mullet. There were black fuzzy dice suspended from the mirror. And the license plate. Oh the license plate! It read, "BONGIOVI." Just let that sink in for a minute. I mean, is this a reference to an Italian version, or was "BONJOVI" seriously already taken?

THEN, Dre put the cherry on top for me with the news that Tim Dameron (TD...as in "Touchdown TD and the Buss driver") is MARRIED!!! I almost had to pull over...into oncoming traffic. It's a crazy world we live in folks. Crazy, crazy, crazy.
