You Can Change the World

Here are a few ways to get started:

1. Wink at people in restaurants, and then go about your business like the winking never happened.
2. Write a letter to a soldier overseas. They're homesick sometimes.
3. Read John 1:4-5 repeatedly for a week. See if anything hits you. Let me know. I feel like I'm missing something there.
4. Get a world map. Mark the places you've been, the places you want to go and the places you wouldn't feel bad about skipping.
5. Plan a trip.
6. Write to your senator or representative.
7. Support a child in a third world country.
8. Go to a Shane and Shane concert (might not change the whole world, but will definitely alter yours).
9. Whistle a discernable tune. Random whistling=annoying and frustrating. Tune whistling=people notice you are happy. And that's contagious.
10. Find something to sing about.
11. Call a friend you haven't talked to in a while.
12. Smile (just once) when you really don't feel like it.
13. Get a library membership. Check out a book you've always wanted to read but never have.
14. Tie string to things at random.
15. Tell everybody you meet about your old football injury (be creative).
16. Say thank you...even for things that are someone's job or that they would be doing anyway.
17. Write to a celebrity just to tell them about your day. Pretend like this is normal and that they know all the people you know, so you can just use first names or nicknames when you talk about other people you saw or talked to.
18. Do something you did when you were five.
19. Honk when you're the only person on the road.
20. Bake cookies and give them out to people you run into throughout the day.

Thanks for reading my blog, guys. Y'all are awesome. I like you a lot. I probably wouldn't write if I knew nobody read it. And I love to write, so thanks for giving me a reason to do it.
