Pez Across America
Ladies and gentlemen, friends and neighbors 'round this great nation of ours, if you're still pondering what you should be for Halloween, join up with me in the Pez Across America Campaign. Our goal is to have people dressed up as Pez dispensers in every time zone at the very least. If we get one in every region, every state, every city, all the better! And even better still, I say we go international with this puppy! All you have to do is fashion a cardboard sheath from shoulders (or under your arms) to toes. Hang it from your shoulders with suspenders or belts or rope...whatever you've got. Paint the box, or cover it in colored paper, and write PEZ down the sides. Then decide what Pez character you want to be. Your options are limitless. Just go to a costume store and buy a mask. Any mask. Wear a pinata on your head. Or be the new, original You Pez dispenser. Bonus points for tossing your head back and shooting candy out of your neck.

Pez™ Dispenser Costume

Time: About 1 hour
Effort: Easy - no sewing required
Materials: Box (rectangular and big enough to fit child) Paint in 2 colors Paintbrushes Pez candies
Instructions: Paint box desired color. With another color, paint the letters P E Z down the sides. Cut a hole for the head and leave the bottom open for feet (box should be large enough to go to ankles). Face can be left unpainted or decorated as you desire (scary, funny, etc).
Tips: When someone says "Hey, a Pez dispenser," Then you can say "Lift my chin," and when they do you can slide his hand up under your chin and hand them a Pez candy.
