Extreme Housework
I have just received quite possibly the most hilarious thing to ever be sent through the U.S. postal system. Ever. And that includes the video sent to Carrie Church featuring "Tippy the 2-D Dog and Friends" and "Spoon Goes to NY."
Emily Furr and Susan McGrady made a 2007 calendar, the title and theme of which is "Extreme Ironing." Each month, one or both of them are featured ironing in...shall we say unusual circumstances. Susan irons in a tree, in the car (at the wheel), leaning out of the shower, in the back of a gator. Emily irons at the pump, on the treadmill and all over our nation's capital.
It is, in a word, stupefying. And it is, without a doubt, the best calendar I've ever seen, including the Derek Zoolander calendar, which was great because it gave him a chance to show off his versatility.
