Happy Bethday!!

First of all, I LOVE that I called my birthday "Bethday" ONE year, and it's totally caught on. Before you know it, it'll be like Festivus. Ha ha! I keed. I keed.

And now, Happy Bethday to you all!!! I hope it's been as good for you as it has been (and still will be because it's not finished yet) for me. Here's a quick recap of the day's festivities:

There was a wee party for me at break this morning complete with cake, singing and presents. The other teachers gave me soap (always a popular, self-consciousness-causing gift), a giant bar of chocolate (they know me so well) and a new scarf (SO well). All the students signed a card in their various languages. Some I can read, some I can't, but I assume they're all well-wishing. At least I hope they are.

Pop Culture class involved both Roman Candle and Johnny Cash. There was no way it could possibly go wrong, and it didn't.

I ran into Alan Seales AND Cutie Von Hottenstein at the gym. Obviously I still don't know the cute guy's name or how I know him, but we had another awkward, small-talk conversation and occupied the same awkward space for five minutes while I stretched and he did some sort of free weight thingamabob. (p.s. Spell check doesn't recognize "cutie" but has no problem with "thingamabob.")

Now I'm waiting on my dates to come and pick me up for dinner at Chili's, where I will break every diet rule known to man. Chips/salsa, chicken quesadilla, margarita AND molten chocolate cake. All after 7:00. I'm so naughty.

And super-exciting news on the dirtydish front! I got an email from our lawyer today with the revised articles of incorporation. Next stop for those babies: Secretary of State, Elaine something-or-other. I figure I don't need to know her last name since we're clearly on a first-name basis anyway. We're on our way, friends! We are on. Our. Way.

AND I'm up to almost $100 in my Avon Walk fund-raising! Only 1700 more to go!!!

Aaaaaaaaand...resuming celebration of Bethday!!
