a bus, a bus, a train, and a metro

So I decided that I wasn't trying to haul all my crap from the last stop on the 11 bus to the train station so I splurged the whole €0.85 for the other bus that would get me right to the RENFE (Spanish national rail system) station. I asked the driver if the bus would go there, just to be sure. He answered in the affirmative, and I boarded the bus. Having walked its route once before, I knew where we were and where the station was. However, the bus didn't go where I thought it would, so I thought maybe it would make a loop back by. It didn't. So I ended up paying the extra €0.85 AND walking further (farther? am I going to be an English teacher?) than I would have had I only taken the 1st bus. So I arrived at the station completely sweat-drenched, but at least I made it....and way early....and I got some exercise in the process.

I made it to Madrid without incident. The last think I saw in the Málaga train station was Lenoardo DiCaprio giving me the eye from his Polo ad. Not quite as good as seeing him on a bike in the West Village, but I take what I can get. We can't all be an Ann or a Megan Jerse, seeing famous people all the time, and being extras in movies with my Tom (aka: Ed). We watched "Bruce Almighty" en español on the train. Hilarious either way, but I think the scene where he makes the news guy go crazy is much funnier in English. I may need to look into purchasing that film when I return. I rather enjoy it.

And some really popular person in our car kept getting phone calls, and every time the phone rang it played the theme song from Beverly Hills 90210. It took me a while to figure out what it was, but when I did....oh what joy! I wish my phone played that. Whose ring would it be? Someone from Wilkesboro, to be sure.
